Jacob McDaniel

Jacob McDaniel is the founder of ToDidIt. He designs and builds it, writes Field Notes, and keeps the Happiness Center in step with the product, so every article here traces back to the person who shipped the thing it describes.

ToDidIt started from one idea that turned out to be load-bearing. Every other task app opens on what you have not done. ToDidIt opens on what you finished, and the permanent ToDid Log is the feature everything else exists to feed.

Jacob also runs &Pixels, the design and product studio behind ToDidIt, and has spent 18 years designing and shipping digital products. He works from Austin, Texas.
