- 3Tap Add, then open ToDidIt from its new home-screen icon. It runs full-screen, no browser bar.
Then turn on notifications
Installing the app and allowing notifications are two separate permissions, and the second one is easy to miss. Here is the whole thing.
Open ToDidIt from your home screen
Not from a browser tab. The installed app is what can hold a notification permission, and on iPhone it is the only thing that can.
Tap Allow when ToDidIt asks
Signed in, you get a short prompt at the bottom of the screen asking to turn notifications on. Tap Not now and it waits 30 days before asking again.
Allow it again in your device's prompt
Your phone asks for itself, in its own dialog. That second yes is the one that actually grants the permission.
Or turn them on whenever you like
Settings, then Notifications, has the same switch plus a test button, per device. Nothing is lost by dismissing the prompt.
On iPhone and iPad notifications only work from the installed app. Safari cannot deliver them from a normal tab, so add ToDidIt to your home screen first and open it from there.

How do I install ToDidIt on my iPhone?
Open todidit.com in Safari, tap the Share button, then tap Add to Home Screen. ToDidIt then opens full-screen from its own icon, just like a native app.
How do I install ToDidIt on Android?
Open todidit.com in Chrome, open the menu in the top-right, and tap Install app (or Add to Home screen). When you visit on a phone, ToDidIt also shows a one-tap Install prompt.
How do I install ToDidIt on my Mac or Windows PC?
Open todidit.com in Chrome or Edge and click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or use the browser menu and choose Install ToDidIt. It opens in its own window and lands in your dock or taskbar.
Is ToDidIt a real app or a website?
ToDidIt is a Progressive Web App. It installs straight from your browser with no app store, runs full-screen without a browser bar, updates itself automatically, works offline for screens you have already opened, and can send notifications.
Does installing ToDidIt cost anything?
No. Installing the app is free on every plan. You only pay if you upgrade to Squad or Business for more features; the free plan works fully as an installed app.
How do I turn on notifications after installing ToDidIt?
Open ToDidIt from your home screen icon rather than your browser. Once you are signed in, ToDidIt asks whether to allow notifications; tap Allow, then allow it again in your device's own prompt. You can also turn them on any time from Settings, then Notifications, on the device you want them.
Why am I not getting notifications after installing the app?
Installing the app and allowing notifications are two separate permissions. On iPhone and iPad, notifications only work when ToDidIt is opened from the installed home-screen icon, never from a Safari tab. If you already declined the browser's prompt, the only way back is your browser or device settings for todidit.com.
