Use the Create ToDidIt task message shortcut to capture a Slack message as a task in a project you can edit.

Run Blueprint from thread on a conversation to draft a project with Didi, review it, and create it in ToDidIt.

Open the ToDidIt app in Slack for assigned tasks, due today, and recently updated work.

Paste a ToDidIt task or project link to get a rich card, only when every channel member can see that work.

Opt in per project under Project settings → Slack. Posts run a strict channel-member privacy check first.

Opt in to project channel postsGet project updates in Slack only when everyone can see them.

- 2Choose the Slack channel and turn on the posts you want.
- 3Invite @ToDidIt to that channel if it is not there yet.
- 4Posts only go out when every human in the channel is linked and can already see the project.
Privacy before posts
Channel posts, “Add to conversation,” and rich link unfurls only go out when every human in that Slack channel is linked to ToDidIt and can already see the project (or inbox task). If anyone can't, we skip the post. Opposite of dumping private updates into a shared channel.
How to connect
An owner or admin connects once. Teammates auto-link when emails match.

Sign in to ToDidIt and open a Squad or Business workspace (upgrade if needed).

Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack. Click Connect Slack.

Invite @ToDidIt to channels. Enable the Home Tab so App Home can refresh.

Run /todidit mine or use a message shortcut to capture your first task.

What plan do I need for Slack?
Slack is included on Squad and Business. Free workspaces can explore the guide, then upgrade to connect.
How do I install ToDidIt for Slack?
Sign in to ToDidIt, open Settings → Integrations → Slack, pick a Squad+ workspace, and click Connect Slack. An owner or admin must complete the install. Invite @ToDidIt to any channels you use.
Will private tasks show up in public channels?
No. Channel posts, share-to-channel, and rich link unfurls only proceed when every human in the channel is linked to ToDidIt and can already see that project or inbox task.
How do accounts link between Slack and ToDidIt?
When your Slack email matches a ToDidIt workspace member, the first slash command or App Home open links you automatically. Actions always run as the linked person.
