A workspace holds your projects, tasks, members, and shared AI budget. Free includes one workspace. Squad and Business include unlimited workspaces, useful for agencies and consultants running one per client, and they all share your account's plan and To-Did allowance.
The same date. A task due September 7 at 8 PM that repeats monthly comes back on October 7, then November 7, at the same time. Recurrence follows the day of the month, not the weekday, so it never shifts to the first Monday. If you pick the 31st, any shorter month falls back to its last day. The next date is figured from the task's due date, and the next copy appears once you complete the current one.
Yes. You set recurrence on the parent, not on each subtask, and the whole checklist repeats with it. Because a parent can only be checked off once every subtask under it is done, completing it brings the parent and all of its subtasks back together on the next due date, fresh and unchecked. Each subtask keeps its own spacing: if one was due two days before the parent, it still is. The finished copy stays in your Log as a record of that round.
Yes. Select any set of tasks and copy them out as a Markdown list, ordered or unordered, with subtasks, priorities, and due dates included. Paste it straight into an AI coding tool. It is on every plan, including Free.
Unlimited. There is no project cap on any plan, Free included. The thing that varies by plan is workspaces: Free gives you one workspace, Squad and Business give you unlimited. Inside a workspace you can make as many projects as you like.
A project is a container for tasks: a launch, a client engagement, a renovation. A workspace is the container for projects, and it is also where members, roles, tags, phases, billing, and your shared To-Did allowance live.
Most people need exactly one workspace and many projects. You want a second workspace when you need a genuinely separate group of people, which is why agencies run one per client.
Archiving takes a project out of your working views and changes nothing else. The tasks you completed in it stay in your ToDid Log, keep counting toward your streaks, and still appear in Reports. You can restore it whole from the archive at any time.
Deleting is the different one: it is permanent and it takes the tasks with it. Archive is almost always what you want.
No. Capture first and file later, or never. A task with no project shows up on All Tasks whenever the All pill is active, along with everything else.
That is also why there is no separate Inbox screen. A dedicated inbox would have shown you the same tasks the All pill already does, so it was cut rather than built.
There is no wrong answer, but each one has a job:
One set. Nothing is copied between views and nothing needs syncing. Complete a task in Horizon and it is complete on Today, in its project, and in the numbers, immediately. Change its due date on Today and the calendar moves it.
Into the ToDid Log, the timestamped record underneath every task list, and into the Log tab inside a project. It starts collapsed with the count in its header, so a project with three hundred finished tasks does not bury the twelve still open.
Nothing is deleted or hidden from you. If you checked something off too early, uncomplete it from the Log and it moves straight back to the active list.
Yes, without turning the product into Jira. Horizon has a Sprint view alongside Calendar and Kanban, and each sprint carries a goal, a review, and a retrospective. Tasks can hold story points, and unfinished work is offered as carryover when a sprint closes.
Sprint length and start day are set per workspace, so the window matches your team's real cadence. All of it is optional: nothing else in the product requires you to estimate or to run ceremonies.
A To-Did is the unit of AI cost. One Project Blueprint = 25 To-Dids. One Smart Due Date suggestion = 1. One description draft = 1. The widget in your sidebar shows what you've used this month.
The AI features pause until you refill (everything else keeps working). Non-admins can nudge admins to refill with one click; admins get a notification with a refill button. Or turn on Auto-Refill and the team never sees a pause.
None of the metered Didi features, but you may not miss them as much as you expect. Natural-language entry works on Free and always will, because it is not Didi at all: "Call Alex tomorrow at 3pm p1 #sales +Website" is parsed by plain pattern matching in your browser, so it costs nothing and there is no allowance to watch. Anything that actually calls a model, like Project Blueprint or the Description Writers, is gated to Squad and Business. Blueprint takes a one-sentence goal and drafts the entire project. Tasks, subtasks, priorities, due dates. You review, edit, and save. Usually under 60 seconds from prompt to a real project tree. See the Blueprint page for templates and the full walkthrough.

Yes. Every line is editable inline before you save. Rename tasks, reorder, change priorities, move due dates, delete or add tasks. If the whole shape feels off, hit Regenerate for a fresh draft from the same goal (costs another 25 To-Dids).
Projects you generated during the trial flip to read-only on Free. You keep the tree visible but can't add, edit, or complete tasks in it until you upgrade. Upgrade unlocks everything immediately. Projects you created normally (not via Blueprint) stay fully editable on Free.
It works best for goal-shaped projects: launches, campaigns, events, real-estate moves, hiring sprints, anything with a clear outcome and a sequence of steps. For open-ended exploration without a defined outcome, the manual project builder is a better fit.
A Project Template is a saved snapshot of a complete project. It preserves every task, subtask, priority level, and timeline structure so you can launch a recurring initiative in a single click. Project Templates and Task Templates are Squad and Business: a Project Template saves a whole project's structure, priorities, and relative timeline spacing, and a Task Template saves a task tree you can stamp into any project or Inbox with its subtasks, tags, and assignees intact. If you move down to Free, everything you saved stays visible; you just need a paid plan to use it again.
Yes. When you invite someone you choose exactly which projects they land in, and those are the only projects they will ever see. Everything else in the workspace stays invisible to them. This is enforced in the database itself, not just hidden in the interface, so there is no URL to guess and no API call that returns the rest. You can change what they have access to at any time from the members list.
Owner created the workspace and runs billing. Admin runs the team: invites people, changes roles, sets project access, and can see every project. Member is a regular teammate who sees and edits only the projects they have been given. Guest is read-only on the projects they have been given. There is a role guide inside the members area, so you never have to remember this.
You can install ToDidIt today. It is a Progressive Web App, so you add it to your phone or desktop home screen and it runs full-screen, like any app, in about ten seconds. Dedicated Mac, iOS, and Android apps are on the post-launch roadmap. The Apps page has the one-tap install steps for every device.
Yes, as a Progressive Web App. On iPhone or iPad, open todidit.com in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome and tap Install app from the menu. When you visit on a phone we also pop up a quick Install prompt you can tap. Once it is on your home screen it opens full-screen with no browser bar, works on flaky connections for screens you have already opened, and can send you reminders. The Apps page walks through it.
Per-person pricing punishes you for collaborating. We'd rather you bring in your whole team than haggle over a $9 user. You pay one flat rate for the account and get unlimited teammates on every plan.

Yes. Settings, then Export your data, downloads a JSON archive of your full account, and the importer reads the same shape back. No paywall on this; your work is yours. If you want a spreadsheet, the Reports view exports the filtered set as CSV.
Yes, on every plan. Use a passkey or an authenticator app. If you turn on an authenticator you also get one-time recovery codes for the day you lose your phone. Two-factor is enforced on the server, not just at the screen, so a half-authenticated session cannot reach your data.

Yes. Settings, then Account, then Delete. We remove your profile, workspaces you own, and the data therein. Workspaces where you're a member but not the owner stay intact for the rest of the team.
