Changing your email
Change the email on your account from your profile. We confirm your current inbox first, then your new one, and everything comes with you.

Only the address. Your workspaces, projects, tasks, plan and billing all stay exactly as they are. Receipts for workspaces you own go to the new address, and any invites waiting for you follow it too.
It takes two codes, one at a time, so someone with your laptop for a minute cannot move your account somewhere you can't reach.
Open your profile and press Change next to your email.
Open your profileType the address you want to use.
Enter the code sent to your current email.
This proves it's you. Nothing changes if this code is never used. Once the change is done, every other device signed in to your account is logged out.
Enter the code sent to your new email.
This proves the new address is yours. The change happens the moment it's accepted, and your old address gets a note saying so.
Tip
If you log in with Google, log in with the Google account for your new address next time. Email codes work for the new address straight away.
Then don't share the code. Your email can't change without it, so your account stays exactly as it is. The email with the code has a link to report it: one tap sends our support team the details of the request, including where it came from, and we'll get back to you. Someone signed in to your account started it, so it's worth reporting even though nothing has moved: we can sign every device out of your account, and then you log in again with a fresh code.
Write to us with the form at the bottom of this page. Tell us the email on your account now and the one you want instead. We'll send a code to the new address for you to reply with, and ask a couple of questions only the account's owner would know. We also check that the request comes from somewhere your account normally signs in from, and we let your old address know, so it can't be done by someone who just knows your address. Once it's moved, every device signed in to your account is logged out, and you log in again with the new address.
