Deleting your account
The danger zone at the bottom of your profile. It removes your profile and the workspaces you own. Workspaces where you are only a member stay intact for the rest of the team.
By ToDidIt Product TeamUpdated
Your profile, the workspaces you own, and the data inside them. Workspaces where you are a member but not the owner are left alone, because deleting your account should not delete your team's work.
Take an export first. Deletion is permanent and there is no undo for it. If you own a workspace your team still needs, transfer ownership or ask us in the form at the bottom of this page before deleting.
There is no undo and no grace period, so the order here matters. Everything before the last step is reversible.
Export your data first.
Export your dataThis is the step you cannot go back for. Once the account is gone the archive cannot be generated, and support cannot recover it for you.
Hand over any workspace your team still needs.
Deleting your account takes the workspaces you own with it. Workspaces where you are only a member are left alone. If a team depends on one you own, make someone else the owner before you go.
Check billing is where you expect.
A paid workspace should be cancelled or transferred rather than left to renew against a card attached to an account that no longer exists.
Open your profile and confirm.
Open your profileThe danger zone sits at the bottom. It asks you to type your email exactly, which is the point: it should not be possible to do this with one stray click.
Tip
There is an optional question about why you are leaving, and what would have kept you. It goes to Jacob, who may reply to your email address, so say if you would rather he did not. What we store is the answers alone, never your name or address. Skipping it changes nothing about the deletion.

Encrypted in transit and at rest, with row-level security on every table so you can only ever reach your own rows.
Billing, invoices, and cancelling
Payments run through Stripe. Manage the card, download invoices, switch monthly to annual, or cancel, all from workspace settings.
