Web push to your phone or desktop for the things you asked to be told about. Works once the app is installed.

Enable push from your profile. The browser asks for permission once. On iPhone and iPad you need to install the app to your home screen first, which is an Apple requirement rather than ours.
The same events your notification settings govern: assignments, mentions, and due or overdue reminders. Turning an event off in settings turns it off everywhere, push included.
Dedicated iOS and Android push, through APNs and FCM, arrives with the native apps. Web push covers both platforms today.

Installing ToDidIt on your phone or desktop
ToDidIt is a Progressive Web App. It installs to your home screen or dock in about ten seconds, opens in its own window with no browser bar, and lands you straight on your dashboard.
