The archive
Finished projects go here instead of being deleted. Restore any of them in one click, or delete permanently once you are certain.

Every project you have archived, each with Restore and Delete. Press p to get back to the live ones. Archiving takes a project out of your working views without touching a single row of its data.
Restore is one click and puts the project back where it was. Delete asks for confirmation first, because that one does not come back.
One click, and nothing about it is fiddly.
Open the archive.
Open the archiveEvery project you have archived, with Restore and Delete on each row. Press p to get back to the live ones.
Press Restore on the row you want.
The project reappears where it was, with its tasks, phases and members exactly as you left them. Archiving never touched any of it.
No, and this is the whole point of archiving rather than deleting. Tasks you completed in an archived project stay in your ToDid Log, your streaks and your reports.
Archiving hides the container. It does not touch the record of what you did, which in a product built around finished work would be the wrong thing to throw away.
Tip
If you are deciding between the two, archive. It costs nothing, it is reversible, and the only thing delete buys you is a shorter archive list.
