Reports

Pick a date range, workspace, project and priority, and six charts re-derive over the filtered set. Download the matching tasks as CSV or JSON.

By Updated

Answering a question you actually have, rather than glancing at fixed numbers. Set a date range, a workspace, a project and a priority, and every chart re-derives over that set. Press r.

It is the one surface that can look across every workspace on your account at once, which is the point if you run more than one.

Five steps, and the fourth is the one that saves you re-exporting.

  1. Open Reports.

Press r, or find it in your account menu rather than the top nav. It sits there deliberately: it is account-scoped, and "how much did I get done" is a question about you rather than about one client.

    Open Reports
  2. Open Filters and set the range.

Presets for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, a year, or all time, plus custom start and end dates if you are reporting on something with real edges like a quarter or a client engagement.

  3. Narrow by workspace, project and priority.

All three are multi-select and default to everything. Workspace is a first-class filter here, which is the point of the page: one report can span every workspace you belong to, or exactly one.

The filter dialog buffers your choices and applies them when you press Apply, so a half-built filter never redraws the charts underneath you.

  4. Read the row count and scan the table.

The toolbar says how many tasks match, and the table below is a preview of exactly what will be exported: the column shape, the row count, what got included.

Checking it here is the difference between one export and three. A filter that quietly matched nothing looks the same as one that worked until you open the file.

  5. Press Export CSV or Export JSON.

You get the filtered set, not the whole account, streamed straight back as a download. CSV for a spreadsheet or an invoice, JSON if something else is going to read it.

For a complete archive of everything rather than a slice, use data export instead.

Six views of the same filtered set.

  • Velocity: completions over time.
  • Overdue trend: whether the overdue pile is growing or shrinking.
  • P1 burndown: your most important work, specifically.
  • Project mix: where the effort actually went.
  • Time to complete: how long tasks sit before they close.
  • Completion heat map: the calendar-grid view of your output.

Download the filtered tasks as CSV or JSON straight from the page, so the slice you are looking at is the slice you get.

For a complete account archive rather than a slice, see data export.

It is a second tab here. Streaks used to have its own route, and that URL still redirects, so an old link or bookmark keeps working.
