The welcome wizard and the Guide
Six screens on your first visit, and an In-app guides entry in your account menu that reopens the walkthrough for whatever screen you are on.
By ToDidIt Product TeamUpdated
The six screens you see once, on your first visit. Two of them ask you for something and the rest are ToDidIt explaining the ideas the product assumes you already hold.
- Welcome. Your name and timezone. Timezone is the one that matters later: it decides when your day rolls over and when the evening recap arrives.
- Meet Didi. What the AI does, in four layers, from parsing a date out of a sentence up to drafting a whole project.
- The ToDid Log. The permanent record of finished work, and the reason the rest of the app is shaped the way it is.
- Tell us about you. Three optional questions used to tune your first suggestions.
- Your first project. The screen worth slowing down for. See Your first ten minutes.
- Choose a plan. Free is a real plan, not an expiring trial, so stopping here is a legitimate answer.
Yes, at any point, and skipping hides nothing from you. Nothing in the wizard is the only route to a setting: your name and timezone live in your profile, the plan screen is Settings, Workspaces, and you can make a project whenever you like.
The one screen worth not skipping is the first project, because an empty app on day two is the most common reason people never come back to a task manager.

The ToDid Log
The running record of what you finished, with timestamps, sitting under every task list. This is the idea the product is named after.
