Finding your way around
Five destinations, one top bar, and a set of single-key shortcuts that get you anywhere without the mouse. There is no sidebar to lose.
By ToDidIt Product TeamUpdated
Every destination has a single letter, pressed on its own with nothing held down. They only fire when you are not typing in a field, so they never eat a task name.
- d Dashboard, t Today, h Horizon, 0 all Tasks, p Projects.
- w opens the workspace switcher from anywhere.
- ⌘ K opens Quick Capture over whatever you are looking at.
- /, Cmd / or ? opens the full list, which is always the current one. More
One, on desktop: the keyboard-shortcut launcher, deliberately quiet and never moving.
There used to be four. The Guide, the referral gift and the Happiness Center link all moved into your account menu under your avatar, and the To-Did meter moved up into the top bar, so there is one place to look rather than a row of floating pills competing with the page.
They are hidden on phones, where the corner belongs to the bottom nav and the capture button instead.
The five destinations move out of the top bar and into a bottom nav so they stay under your thumb, and a floating button sits above it to add a task. Everything else is where you left it.
They are not. There is one set of tasks and several angles on it, so completing something in Today completes it in Horizon, in its project, and everywhere else, at the same moment.
Today is the morning routine, All Tasks is the flat working list, Horizon is the planning board, Projects is the step-back grid, and Dashboard and Reports are the numbers.
Tip
If a task is missing from a view, it is almost always a filter rather than a bug. Views remember what you last set them to.
